The original Atlantis resort on Palm Jumeirah, opened on 24 September 2008, and still the highest-volume luxury family resort in Dubai. It is effectively a self-contained destination built around Aquaventure Waterpark, The Lost Chambers Aquarium and Dolphin Bay. For group and series business it is one of the few Dubai properties that can absorb very large numbers without splitting a party.
