Dune buggies and quad bikes
- Direct guests
- youth
- incentive
Self-drive off-road activity in designated desert zones — two- and four-seater dune buggies, and single-rider quad bikes (ATVs).
Sessions are commonly sold in 30-minute and 60-minute blocks as safari add-ons.
How it operates
Sold either as a standalone session or as an add-on to a morning or evening safari. Guests receive a safety briefing and mandatory protective equipment, then ride a marked circuit or guided route with a lead rider.
For agents
Operating and selling mechanics
- Always confirm the age rule against the operator's own current terms — it is the most common cause of a refused activity at the dunes.
- Buggies are a reliable incentive-group energiser; quads are cheaper but less group-friendly.
The rules
- Operator and industry sources referencing Dubai legislation consistently state a minimum rider age of 16 for recreational quad bikes, and the same for dune buggy drivers.
- Helmets are described as mandatory for every rider and passenger on licensed tours; goggles and protective gear are standard.
- Child passenger minimums vary by operator.

Made to measure
Our Dubai team arranges the hotels, transfers and excursions on the ground across all seven Emirates — so the programme is assembled around the dates you send us, not around a fixed departure calendar.
The fleet is ours, and so is the team that dispatches it.
